Many things have to be changed
Robert Rodat, the playwright who created the scripts of the two films of Saving Private Ryan and The Patriot, will be responsible for adapting the popular online game LOTR Gold. The director of the movie, Sam Raimi confirmed it in a recent interview.
Sam Raimi added that he hoped the playwright could produce a really original story, including the myth and character in the Horde and Alliance. He also pointed out games and films are two totally different worlds and during of the adaption many things have to be changed, and even so, they would try their best to be loyal the game and preserve the feeling of LOTR.
