The shops for profit
Look for items being sold below shop sellback value in the marketplace and buy them. Then sell these items back to the shops for profit.
Try trading old collectible items down for lots of new collectible items and possibly a small amount of Star Wars Galaxies credits. This will create an unending cycle of collectible items you can sell for a lot of gold later. This takes a lot of patience, however.
